Blister Packaging
Blister and clamshell packaging is perfect for small consumer and industrial products that require a high level of security and product visibility. Also called carded packaging, blister packaging is backed by a printed card for product descriptions and instructions. Clamshells give your product visibility from the front and the back of the package, with a printed inserted card.
Carded Blister Packaging
Carded blister packaging is an inexpensive, secure way to market small consumer and industrial products. In a blister package, your product is placed in a pre-formed, clear PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic tray. The blister is attached to a printed card with a heat-sealing process.
This packaging option allows your products to be displayed on peg hooks, also called wickets, or in variety of other methods.
Clamshell Packaging
Clamshell packaging gives your product visibility from the front and the back of the package. Made from thermoformed transparent plastic, clamshells are essentially hinged boxes that can be made reclosable or permanently sealed.
Clamshell packaging can display your product in many ways, including hanging and standing upright. A printed insert displays product information and graphics.
High Wave Rido Frequency (R/F) Packaging
For added security, R/F (Radio Frequency) energy permenantly seals plastic packages to deter theft or tampering. Simliar to radio frequencies used in microwave ovens, R/F energy excites molecules to fuse the plastic.
Also like a microwave, an R/F heat sealer heats material more quickly than a standard heat sealer. With less time to make a seal, your production rate goes up. Plastic heated with RF energy cools down quickly allowing your products to be handled more efficiently.
